Changing plans is really easy

Select one of your 'Time between' tasks.

Select More > Replace-function to replace the task with another by typing eg. 'Nap/Quiet break'.

Again the duration did not change, the task did! You could also select various consecutive tasks and turn them into one big task with this function.

Day Plans

Add your own tasks

There are more than 250 different tasks that are already in the database.

If you cannot find a task that suits your needs, you can easily add a new one by typing the name in the Search and choosing from the options what kind of task should be created.

Find out more about where Tasks go by visiting the page Categories.

Selecting 'New task - Create & add' a pop-up window will appear, where you can set the duration and Category for your task.

In the beginning, though, you might just want to create Tasks of pre-set duration to the Unassigned-folder and move them later to the Category they seem to best fit in.

It can function as a calendar

Add "Appointment" to the plan. Set it somewhere in between of the other tasks.

Select More > Fix start & duration.

Now try to move and change the durations of other tasks around the Appointment to see how they behave. You will notice their durations will change, in order for the starting time and duration of the Appointment to stay unchanged. Brilliant! You have a task that is set in time and duration!

Unfinished plans

Let's say you have a meeting next Monday at 11:30 am, but you do not know yet what will be happening before that meeting on that day. You could add a Morning-Routine, then a Time between which your set to end at 11:30 am. Then you add the Appointment, which start & duration you set fix. Voila!

Plan time even without specific tasks

Let's try out something very useful. Use the Search-function to add "Time between" to your plan. I used this task a lot in the beginning to fill out times I hadn't planned out yet. I recommend you to do the same.

Select More > Split and type in eg. 'Snack'. A pop-up-window will appear.

Set the duration of 'Snack'. It will be substracted from the duration of 'Time between'.

Placing 'Snack' to happen before or after the 'Time between' will split the original task into 2 different tasks.

For this tutorial choose In the middle of. 'Time between' will now be split into 3 tasks, 'Time between', 'Snack' and another 'Time between'.

All 3 tasks together have the same duration as the one task 'Time between' before you started the splitting and the rest of your Day Plan has not changed!
